OELLEN School to Work Summit 2024
The OELLEN School to Work Summit 2024 focused on the future career impacts of the push to Net Zero 2050. We heard from industry experts about how this will influence the local job market, career pathways for our young people and how we all live on a daily basis. Local employers shared how they are preparing for this change to how they operate and how it will effect their hiring decisions.
We shared updates on all of the latest OELLEN projects and examined the local employment landscape. As always, attendees shared that the networking opportunities across the day were their favourite elements of a great day.
Thanks to everyone who attended for your wonderful feedback:
“I enjoyed the presenters and workshops at the table, all the discussions were so interesting. Also the OELLEN presentations were as always awesome. ”
“I enjoyed learning about the key roles in industry, industry trends and forecast for net zero jobs. Also networking and learning about what is happening across other business/schools/workforce/government.”
