Construction Induction Training (White Card) Now Available for Schools

Master Builders Victoria is taking bookings for Construction Induction Training (White Card) for school groups across metropolitan and regional Victoria for the remainder of 2026 and throughout 2027.

This nationally recognised course (CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry) gives students a practical introduction to working safely on building sites — ideal for anyone considering structured workplace learning, work experience, or a future career in construction.

Delivered face-to-face by experienced industry trainers, the course covers

  • Occupational health and safety requirements in Victoria

  • Identifying and controlling common site hazards

  • Safe work practices

  • Emergency procedures and incident response

  • Communicating about health and safety onsite

Key details:

  • Delivered onsite at schools, metro or regional

  • Groups of 10–20 students (Year 10, 11 and 12 can be combined; Year 9 delivered separately)

  • $79 per student, no additional onsite fees

  • Two-day delivery aligned with school hours, or a one-day option (8am–5pm)

  • Includes a PPE pack, learner guide and digital assessment
