First Stop- Youth Transition Centre

First Stop is a free service that helps young people make decisions about further education, training and employment pathways. First Stop acts as the first point of contact for young people who require assistance and information about the options available to them.

First Stop can provide personalised assistance to meet individual needs, a youth-friendly careers resource centre, information on careers, training pathways, employment and New Apprenticeships (traineeships and apprenticeships).

First Stop also has its own Cyber Hub an online environment with web access and career and training information for young people. Information sessions on training and career options and referral to other support services are offered by First Stop.

First Stop is based at Swinburne TAFEs Croydon campus (Melways 50 K5) and is easily accessible by public transport.
